Original job description

SALES ASSOCIATE

Full-Time | Burlington, Ontario | On-site

Know how to build relationships, follow up, and close a sale? Bring your sales experience to EQ3.

We’re looking for an experienced sales professional to join our Burlington team. If you enjoy understanding what customers need, helping them make confident decisions, and working toward sales goals, we’d love to hear from you.

Experience in furniture, appliances, automotive, flooring, kitchens, home improvement, or other consultative sales environments can translate well to this role. Interior design experience is welcome, but it is not required - we’ll provide training in our products, materials, and furniture options.

WHAT’S IN IT FOR YOU?

Earning potential of approximately $65,000–$75,000 annually, with the opportunity to earn more based on sales performance. Compensation structure and earning opportunities will be discussed during the interview. Earnings vary and are not guaranteed.
Competitive benefits package and paid time off.
Employee discounts on EQ3 products.
Product training and tools to support your success.
Wellness programs and opportunities for professional development and career growth.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

As a Sales Associate, you’ll guide customers from their first conversation through product selection and purchase, helping them find furniture that fits their needs, space, and budget.

You will:

Build rapport, ask thoughtful questions, and identify buying needs.
Present relevant products and explain their features, quality, and customization options.
Prepare accurate quotes, address questions and objections, and close sales.
Follow up on inquiries and quotes to turn interest into purchases.
Build a client base through ongoing relationships, repeat business, and referrals.
Take ownership of your sales opportunities and meet or exceed individual targets.
Maintain strong product knowledge and work with your team to deliver a positive customer experience.

WHAT YOU BRING

Experience in retail, consultative, or commission-based sales.
A track record of achieving sales goals and following through on customer opportunities.
Confidence explaining value, handling objections, and asking for the sale.
Strong communication, organization, and customer relationship skills.
Initiative, accountability, and motivation to grow your results.
An interest in furniture and a willingness to learn.
Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.

Furniture or interior design experience is an asset, but it is not required.

ABOUT EQ3

EQ3 creates modern furniture with an emphasis on thoughtful design, quality craftsmanship, and lasting everyday use. You’ll help customers find pieces they can enjoy for years while building your own career in sales.

Ready to bring your sales experience to EQ3? Apply today.

Location: 1510 North Service Road, Unit C, Burlington, ON L7P 5C7
