Job Summary

Reporting to the Manager of Human Resources, the Human Resources Business Partner will play a key role in supporting HR operations by providing guidance, administrative support, and contributing to the implementation of HR programs and initiatives.

This position is based in Geraldton, Ontario on a 7 day in, 7 day out rotation.

Key Responsibilities

Coordinate the delivery of Human Resources advice, support, solutions, and recommendations to supervisors and employees in a professional, efficient, and practical manner.
Assist in the development and communication of Human Resources policies and procedures, and produce documents, letters, and other correspondence.
Contribute to the design of HR programs and initiatives and ensure they are successfully implemented and understood.
Serve as the site Human Resources point of contact.
Coordinate and oversee the entire onboarding process to integrate new hires seamlessly into the organization.
Attend and participate in career fairs and other recruitment events.
Provide guidance and support to supervisors and employees on employee relations issues.
Investigate and help resolve employee complaints and grievances in coordination with the HR manager.
Conduct exit interviews and provide feedback to management.
Collaborate closely with all departments to communicate end of employment.
Monitor and analyze employee relations trends and recommend proactive measures to address issues.
Perform daily Human Resources duties such as updating employee records, completing relevant forms, filing and tracking documents, entering data, and scheduling meetings.

Required Experience And Skill Set

5+ years of relevant Human Resources experience.
Experience in mining or related industry is an asset.
