Job Summary
We are seeking a Maintenance Helper to join our team. Reporting to the Mine Maintenance Supervisor, the Maintenance Helper is responsible for following direction of Supervisors to assist the team in the maintenance shop.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with regular shop duties including cleaning and restocking of consumables.
- Work closely with technicians to complete routine maintenance on fleet while learning the trade.
- Fill in on Wash Bay and Fuel Lube Island duties when required.
- Work closely with direct supervisor to ensure delegated tasks are completed in a timely manner.
- Compliance with Equinox Greenstone Policies and Procedures.
- Compliance with statutory regulations.
- Maintain a high degree of professionalism in the discharge of duty and personal conduct. The duties and responsibilities listed above are representative of the nature and level of work assigned and are not necessarily all-inclusive.
- Mechanical background considered an asset.
- Ability to communicate effectively.
- Able to use basic computer programs
- Demonstrated ability to work exceptionally in a team atmosphere.
