Location: 5050 Satellite Drive, Mississauga, ON
Hours: 2 days per week (approximately 16 hours weekly)
Hourly: $36-$40 per hour

Join The Team:
ERCO Worldwide is looking for a Payroll Coordinator to join our Human Resources team on a temporary basis! In this role, you will help keep our payroll and HRIS operations running smoothly while ensuring employees across Canada and the U.S. are paid accurately and on time. You will manage biweekly payroll processes in compliance with applicable legislation, guidelines, and company requirements.
The Role:
Key Responsibilities
- Provide day-to-day administrative support to the Payroll team.
- Monitor and respond to payroll-related inquiries through shared payroll mailboxes.
- Assist employees and managers with payroll-related questions and escalate complex issues as required.
- Perform payroll audits and reconciliations to ensure data accuracy and compliance.
- Support payroll processing activities, including data entry and transaction reviews.
- Maintain payroll records and ensure documentation is complete and audit-ready.
- Assist with year-end payroll activities and reporting requirements.
- Support time and attendance audits and follow up on outstanding approvals.
- Prepare payroll reports and distribute to internal partners.
- Document payroll processes, procedures, and work instructions.
- Coordinate with HR, Benefits, and Finance teams to resolve payroll-related issues.
- Support special payroll projects and ad hoc requests.
- Maintain confidentiality of employee and payroll information at all times.
Additional Responsibilities during HCM Implementation
- Perform data validation between legacy and new HCM/payroll systems.
- Assist with user acceptance testing (UAT) activities.
- Review employee master data for completeness and accuracy.
- Track and document payroll issues identified during testing cycles.
- Support payroll process mapping and workflow reviews.
The Person:
- High School Diploma required, College Diploma in Business is preferred.
- PCP designation preferred or currently enrolled into.
- Minimum 1 year of experience in US and Canadian Payroll and HRIS Systems (Dayforce preferred).
