Job Title: Senior Analyst Finance
Location: Edmonton, AB T6S 1H5
Duration: 12 months
Hybrid: 3 days onsite, 2 days remote

Note: Bilingual candidates preferred (English & French)

Role Purpose

• To support the understanding, interpretation and communication of business financial performance through analysis of business results, trends and targets against internal and external comparators.

Key Accountabilities

• Develops and maintains effective reporting mechanisms to ensure the immediate team is provided with updated information on financial performance.
• Provides information to support economic analyses, studies and counsel to the immediate team on all matters of potentially significant financial impact to the company.
• Reviews, interprets and challenges monthly, quarterly and annual financial results for use by the immediate team.

Functional Area: Finance

• Roles related to the development, implementation and maintenance of financial plans and policies.
• Activities include establishing fiscal controls, preparing financial reports, advising on financial affairs and assisting with strategic long-term planning.

• Challenge, advise and provide decision & execution support to leaders and optimizes business performance.

• Professional with limited work experience who is still acquiring a higher level of knowledge and skills in a professional area.
