Original job description

eTracks Tire Management Systems is currently recruiting for the position of Customer Development & Relationship Specialist (Bilingual). This is a newly created position.

Mandate of the Role

Reporting to the Director, Customer Relations & Engagement, the Customer Development & Relationship Specialist will be a key contributor responsible for developing business opportunities, strengthening customer relationships and supporting sustainable revenue growth.

This customer-focused role combines the consultative communications and opportunity development skills with the relationship ownership, follow-through and account coordination skills associated with customer relationship and account management roles.

This position is intended for a professional who can engage customers with credibility, identify needs and opportunities, coordinate internal responses, and maintain disciplined follow-up. It is not an administrative support role, though it requires strong documentation, coordination, and CRM discipline.

How the Mandate will be Fulfilled

In this role, you will serve as a trusted, commercially minded point of contact for customers and prospective customers.

You will build and maintain productive relationships, identify and qualify customer needs, develop and advance appropriate business opportunities, and help ensure customers receive timely, coordinated, and professional support throughout the relationship lifecycle.

You will conduct proactive outreach and follow up to understand customer objectives, identify emerging needs and support customer retention and growth.

You will assess customer requirements, timing, decision process, potential value, and fit with available products or services.

You will act as a reliable day-to-day contact for customer inquiries, ensuring requests are documented, routed, followed up, and resolved or escalated appropriately.

You will maintain accurate and current customer contact, activity, opportunities, and pipeline records in CRM or other related business systems, and you will collaborate with internal teams to support a coordinated and positive customer experience.

Core Qualifications, Education, and Experience:

Post-secondary education in business, marketing, communications, or a related discipline, or an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.
Bilingual (French and English), both written and verbal.
Experience in a customer-facing commercial or relationship-focused role, such as inside sales, customer relationship management, customer success, account coordination, business development support, or account management.
Demonstrated ability to build rapport, conduct needs-based conversations, identify opportunities, and manage timely follow-up with customers or prospects.
Experience using CRM systems, Microsoft Office applications, and related tools to manage customer information, activities, pipeline details, and reporting.
Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain information clearly, professionally, and appropriately for different audiences.
Ability to manage multiple priorities, maintain accurate records, and follow through on commitments in a timely and organized manner.

Why work at eTracks?

We offer a flexible, hybrid work environment, where employees are able to work from home up to 50% of the time (according to business needs).

Fast- paced, not-for-profit environment where every day is a different challenge.
Small-team culture where we are “all in it together” and have each other’s back.
Development opportunities and a chance to be involved in the “whole business”.
A challenging yet rewarding opportunity which will drive you to achieve.

Salary Range: $64,000 – $70,000 annual (depending on experience).

In accordance with Ontario’s Pay Transparency Act, candidates will be notified when they are no longer under consideration or once the vacancy is closed. Updates regarding application status may be communicated via email or through the online applicant profile, where applicable.
