Original job description
The Opportunity Euna Solutions is looking for a Content Specialist to join our Learning & Adoption team and help create clear, accurate, and user-friendly documentation for our SaaS products.
In this role, you will primarily write and maintain help center articles that help customers understand and successfully use Euna's software. You'll take complex product information and turn it into documentation that is easy to understand, navigate, and act on.
You'll work closely with subject matter experts (SMEs) and members of the Learning & Adoption team to gather information, ask the right questions, clarify processes, and ensure documentation accurately reflects the product.
This is a hands-on writing role. You'll be given assigned documentation projects and will be expected to manage your work with minimal coaching, while working under the guidance of senior members of the team.
What You'll Do
- Write clear, user-focused help articles that translate complex SaaS workflows into documentation customers can follow and act on.
- Identify documentation needs tied to the product release schedule and independently produce or update articles ahead of upcoming launches.
- Collaborate with subject matter experts to gather information, ask targeted questions, and close gaps before they reach the customer.
- Review and edit existing help articles to keep content accurate, consistent, and aligned with current product functionality.
- Apply established writing, content, and accessibility standards consistently across all documentation.
- Incorporate feedback from SMEs and senior team members to refine and finalize assigned work.
What You Bring
- You have 2-4 years of experience in technical writing, documentation, content writing, or a closely related field.
- You can take complex information and turn it into concise, user-friendly documentation with minimal coaching.
- You ask the right questions: you know how to draw out what you need from subject matter experts and spot what is missing.
- You are organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable managing multiple documentation tasks and deadlines at once.
- You can learn complex software and understand how features, processes, and workflows connect to one another.
Nice-to-Have Qualifications
- Experience writing documentation for SaaS or enterprise software products.
- Experience creating or maintaining help center or knowledge base content.
- Familiarity with accessibility standards such as WCAG, AODA, Section 508, or ADA.
- Experience working within a content management system or knowledge base platform.
What Success Looks Like
- In this role, success means producing documentation that customers can actually use.
- You will be successful when you can take an assigned topic, learn what you need to know, work with the right people to fill information gaps, and independently produce a clear and accurate help article with minimal coaching.
- We're looking for someone who is curious, detail-oriented, and genuinely enjoys writing - someone who can dig into a complex software workflow, ask "what am I missing?", and turn what they learn into documentation that makes the customer's job easier.
Location This position will be hybrid with 3 days/week in our Oakville, ON office (Tuesday, Wednesday & Thursday)
This is a 12-month contract position.
Compensation Range: $66,000 - $82,500 We believe in openness, so we publish our range from the start. Where an offer will land depends on your background, strengths, and how you'll contribute to the work ahead.
This role fills an existing vacancy. Euna uses AI responsibly to assist in screening, assessing, or selecting applicants. AI helps us work smarter, but people lead the process.
AI Mindset at Euna Solutions We believe the future of work is human + AI. At Euna Solutions, we encourage our team members to leverage AI tools to enhance creativity, efficiency, and decision-making. We're looking for people who are curious about emerging technologies, eager to experiment, and committed to using AI responsibly to augment, not replace, their expertise.
If you enjoy exploring new ways to solve problems, learning continuously, and applying AI to make your work smarter and more impactful, you'll thrive here.
Life at Euna Solutions We're a team of builders, problem-solvers, and public sector champions. We've built a workplace around a straightforward idea: people do their best work when they're trusted, supported, and not running on empty.
Here's what that actually looks like:
π’ How we work We're hybrid - three days a week in our Oakville or Atlanta offices, with standard hours on those days. What the remaining days look like depends on your role and your manager. We talk about it early in the process so there are no surprises on either side.
π§ Eunafier Days Twice a year, you get an extra day tacked onto a long weekend. We think recharging is part of doing good work - not a reward for it. Use it however you need.
π Community is part of who we are Our Engagement Committee finds meaningful ways to give back through time, donations, and shared expertise. We're invested in the places where our people actually live and work.
π€ Philanthropy Time We give every employee up to eight hours a year to spend on causes that matter to them. We want you to show up for your community - and we make time for it.
π Real connection at scale You won't know all 600+ people - and that's okay. What matters is building real relationships with the people you work with every day. Our culture team creates consistent opportunities for that, so work doesn't feel isolating.
π Room to grow Whether you're going deep on AI, building expertise in government tech, or stepping into a bigger role, we invest in your development - through budget, mentorship, and real opportunity to move when you're ready.
