We are looking for an experienced Controller to oversee the company's accounting operations, financial reporting, tax compliance and accounting team. This is a hands-on role with ownership of the full month-end and year-end close process.

Key Responsibilities

Manage the full month-end and year-end close process.
Prepare and analyze financial statements, gross margins and budget variances.
Review journal entries and balance sheet reconciliations.
Manage customer rebates, royalties and sales commissions.
Coordinate external audits and year-end requirements.
Review Canadian and U.S. sales tax and regulatory filings.
Manage non-resident withholding tax and related reporting.
Maintain ERP accounting setups, G/L structure and automated posting rules.
Improve accounting processes, controls and procedures.
Lead, coach and develop the accounting team.
Support Operations, Sales and Purchasing on financial matters.

Qualifications

CPA designation.
7+ years of progressive accounting experience.
2+ years in a Controller, Assistant Controller or Senior Accounting Manager role.
Strong month-end and year-end close experience.
Experience managing external audits.
Advanced Excel skills, including lookups and pivot tables.
Bilingual
Experience with JD Edwards or a similar ERP is an asset.

Nous sommes à la recherche d’un(e) Contrôleur financier expérimenté(e) pour superviser les opérations comptables, l’information financière, la conformité fiscale et l’équipe comptable. Il s’agit d’un rôle pratique avec une responsabilité complète du processus de clôture mensuelle et annuelle.

La personne idéale est rigoureuse, à l’aise avec les chiffres et capable de présenter clairement l’information financière à la haute direction.

Principales responsabilités

Gérer le processus complet de clôture mensuelle et annuelle.
Préparer et analyser les états financiers, les marges brutes et les écarts budgétaires.
Réviser les écritures comptables et les rapprochements de comptes de bilan.
Gérer les programmes de rabais clients, les redevances et les commissions de vente.
Coordonner les audits externes et les exigences de fin d’exercice.
Réviser les déclarations de taxes de vente au Canada et aux États-Unis.
Gérer les retenues d’impôt des non-résidents et les déclarations connexes.
Maintenir la configuration comptable du système ERP, la structure du grand livre et les règles d’imputation automatisées.
Améliorer les processus comptables, les contrôles internes et les procédures.
Superviser, encadrer et développer l’équipe comptable.
Collaborer avec les équipes des opérations, des ventes et des achats sur les enjeux financiers.

Qualifications

Titre de CPA.
7+ années d’expérience progressive en comptabilité.
Minimum 2 ans dans un rôle de Contrôleur, Contrôleur adjoint ou Gestionnaire comptable senior.
Solide expérience des clôtures mensuelles et annuelles.
Expérience en gestion d’audits externes.
Excellente maîtrise d’Excel, notamment les recherches et les tableaux croisés dynamiques.
Bilinguisme français et anglais.
Expérience avec JD Edwards ou un ERP similaire, un atout.
Expérience en vente en gros, distribution, fabrication ou biens de consommation, un atout.
Bonne connaissance du coût des stocks et de l’analyse des marges brutes, un atout.
