Original job description

The Evolve Agency Group is an independent, full-service marketing and advertising agency built on long-term relationships, clear standards, and trust in our people. Our teams work closely across creative, media, strategy, and accounts to help clients show up clearly and consistently in the market. We partner with brands such as Toyota, Greenstone Meats, Egg Farmers of Ontario, Lindt, and Source for Sports, with shared expectations around quality, clarity, and follow-through.

The Account Supervisor will be the primary “owner” of the day-to-day relationship between agency and client, responsible for balancing revenue goals of the agency and strategic goals of the client. You will work to have an intimate understanding of your client’s business portfolio and work alongside the Director and/or Group Account Director to proactively bring forward challenges and opportunities.

You will be responsible for defining objectives and success requirements of initiatives, involved in formulating strategy with other agency resources and supervising delivery of projects. You will take a hands-on approach to day-to-day client management to ensure deliverables are achieved with the highest standard of quality and profitability.

Ideal Qualifications & Skills:

5+ years experience preferably from an integrated agency background or client-side associate brand management
A keen eye for detail and a proven track record of delivering projects on time and within budget
A natural team player who is confident and articulate for day-to-day management of client, vendor & agency peer relationships
Ability to remain calm, collected and professional under times of stress or conflict
A solutions-oriented professional who proactively addresses concerns and issues head on with confidence
Have exemplary communication & organization skills
Ability to assemble and present client focused presentations including creative and strategy
Given the range of internal client relationship stakeholders (e.g. GAD, Director, Creative Director) the ability to coordinate multiple streams of feedback & proactively manage up to the collective account leads in a timely manner with confidence, is essential
Post-Secondary Degree

Responsibilities:

Supervises the planning and execution of client deliverables
Supervises the development of all client deliverables in accordance with clients’ objectives and budget limitations
Consults with the media, social, creative and dev departments in the development of the agency’s recommendation for the execution plan to be used and the creative approach to be taken
Consults with creative, media and strategy to be certain client objectives are clearly understood and then to develop strategic solutions
Reviews creative and other agency work to ensure that it reflects the strategy and objectives prior to submission to Account Director and client
Oversees the flow of all work associated with assigned accounts
Maintains contact with appropriate client personnel to insure continuing agency awareness of clients’ desires, interests, and understanding of agency work
Informs Account Director of key developments which have implications for his/her client counterparts or agency management
Supervises direct reports in their direct responsibility for development of tasks required for client
Stays alert for opportunities to increase client activity and billing, as well as obtaining new business from existing clients
