Data Maintenance Specialist

Location: Montreal or Sorel-Tracy, Quebec, Canada

About the Role

We are seeking a Specialist, Business Systems to provide day-to-day operational support for business applications, particularly Human Resources (HR) and Health, Safety & Environment (HSE) systems.

The ideal candidate will have strong analytical and problem-solving skills, experience supporting business applications, and the ability to coordinate with vendors, internal support teams, and business stakeholders. The role will also involve participation in technical projects, including Citrix Remediation.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide daily operational support for business applications and systems.
• Support HR and HSE applications and coordinate issue resolution with relevant teams.
• Analyze business data and prepare reports, management performance indicators, and KPIs.
• Understand business requirements and recommend practical, cost-effective solutions.
• Coordinate with vendors, application support teams, and project stakeholders to ensure effective service delivery.
• Manage minor system enhancements, including timelines, budgets, risks, dependencies, and issues.
• Participate in technical projects, including Citrix Remediation and system improvement initiatives.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot issues and improve application performance.
• Communicate with stakeholders regarding system architecture, performance, capacity, and support capabilities.
• Ensure compliance with organizational standards, policies, and procedures.

Required Qualifications & Skills

• Experience in business systems, application support, business analysis, or IT systems coordination.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
• Experience supporting business applications, preferably HR and HSE/EHS systems.
• Experience coordinating vendors, support teams, and multiple operational or project initiatives.
• Knowledge of reporting, data analysis, and performance indicators.
• Strong organizational, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to identify risks, dependencies, and issues while managing competing priorities.
• Fluent French is mandatory; English is an asset.
• Availability to work onsite at least three days per week in Montreal or Sorel-Tracy, Quebec.

Preferred Qualifications

• Exposure to Citrix environments or remediation projects.
• Experience with application enhancements, system upgrades, or technical project coordination.
• Experience working in a large enterprise environment.
