📢 We’re Hiring: Senior Advisor – Operational & Closure Readiness
📍 Location: Montreal, QC, Canada
🏢 Work Model: Hybrid – 3 days onsite per week
📅 Contract: Initial 12 months, with a target end date of December 31, 2027

About the Opportunity
We are looking for a Senior Advisor – Operational & Closure Readiness to support Rio Tinto’s major SAP S/4HANA transformation program.
This role will focus on coordinating operational readiness activities for the Move & Sell function, ensuring successful execution of testing, training, pre- and post-cutover activities, and hypercare. The ideal candidate will have strong project coordination skills, hands-on SAP experience, and the ability to collaborate with multiple stakeholders across business and operational teams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate and track SME readiness activities, deliverables, and timelines.
- Develop and maintain activity plans, task lists, and project trackers.
- Collaborate with readiness leads, regional change teams, local site representatives, and SMEs.
- Coordinate testing, training, cutover, and hypercare activities.
- Manage scheduling, logistics, dependencies, and stakeholder communications.
- Identify risks and issues, track progress, and escalate concerns when required.
- Support the mobilisation of SMEs and ensure site-specific requirements are addressed.
Required Qualifications & Experience:
✅ Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Business, or a related field.
✅ Experience in project management and operational coordination.
✅ Hands-on SAP working experience.
✅ Understanding of end-to-end Deal-to-Contract and Order-to-Cash processes.
✅ Experience in Commercial Services or Shared Services environments.
✅ Experience coordinating readiness, deployment, or business transformation activities.
✅ Strong planning, scheduling, tracking, and stakeholder management skills.
✅ Ability to work effectively in a matrix organization.
✅ Fluency in both English and French is mandatory.
