Requirements

As a Planner, your primary mandate will be to be responsible for operational planning directly within a production unit. Based on the master plan defined by the Strategic Planner, you will organize assembly line production, prepare the required documentation, and ensure that all material requirements and purchases are in place for seamless execution. More specifically, you will be responsible for:

Plan production and other projects according to the Strategic Planner’s directives;
Create project work orders for production;
Plan picking lists for warehouse teams;
Verify component availability, including long lead-time parts, and initiate purchase requests or follow-ups with the procurement team;
Monitor the progress of ongoing projects, adjust planning, and coordinate with the individuals concerned;
Ensure priorities are respected and that information flows efficiently;
Identify operational issues (material shortages, delays, non-conformities) and propose solutions;
Participate in the continuous improvement of planning, documentation, and internal coordination processes;
Respond promptly to production-related change requests;
Analyze and document variances between project plans and actual results, and identify findings or recommendations;
Work closely with the various departments;
Perform any other related duties.

Requirements

Hold a vocational studies diploma or any other equivalent training;
3 to 5 years of experience in a similar role;
Knowledge of the control panel manufacturing industry (asset);
Be comfortable using the Microsoft Office suite, intermediate to advanced level;
Be comfortable using ERP-type systems, e.g., Prextra, Brightwork 365 (asset);
Have a good command of French and English, both spoken and written, to communicate with our partners outside Quebec.

Planifier la production et autres projets selon les directives du planificateur stratégique ;
Créer les bons de travail des projets pour la production;
Planifier les listes de cueillette pour les équipes d’entrepôt ;
Vérifier la disponibilité des composantes incluant les pièces à long délai et déclencher les demandes d’achat ou les relances auprès de l’équipe des approvisionnements ;
Suivre l’avancement des projets en cours, ajuster la planification et coordonner avec les personnes concernées ;
S’assurer que les priorités sont respectées et que l’information circule efficacement ;
Identifier les enjeux opérationnels (manques de matériel, retards, non-conformités) et proposer des solutions ;
Participer à l’amélioration continue des processus de planification, documentation et coordination interne ;
Répondre promptement aux demandes de changements liés à la production ;
Analyser et consigner les écarts dans les projets avec le réel et dégager des constats ou recommandations ;
Travailler en étroite collaboration avec les différents départements ;
Effectuer toutes autres tâches connexes.

EXIGENCES

Détenir un diplôme d’études professionnelles ou toute autre formation équivalente ;
3 à 5 ans d’expérience dans un poste similaire ;
Connaître le domaine de la fabrication de panneaux de contrôle (atout) ;
Être à l’aise avec la suite Office – niveau intermédiaire à avancé ;
Être à l’aise avec les systèmes de type ERP ex. : Prextra, Brightwork 365 (atout) ;
Avoir une bonne maîtrise du français et de l'anglais, parlé et écrit pour communiquer avec nos partenaires hors Québec.
