Project Manager

Compensation:

• Salary: $85,000 to $110,000/year

Role and Responsibilities:

Sales Support, Estimating & Sourcing

• Sales Collaboration: Partner with the Sales team on technical inquiries, order feasibility, and client specs to secure new and existing business opportunities.
• Cost Estimating & Quoting: Prepare accurate job estimates and competitive quotes derived from preliminary sketches, final design renderings, and engineering drawings.
• Vendor & Material Sourcing: Identify, specify, and source third-party materials and specialized services across plastics, metals, wood, packaging, and logistics.
• Supplier Management: Build strong supplier relationships and negotiate competitive pricing without compromising quality.

Technical Project & Execution Management

• End-to-End Ownership: Direct all technical and process aspects of approved sales orders from initiation to delivery.
• Schedule & Path Tracking: Maintain project critical paths, establish detailed production timelines, and track job costing against budget throughout the project lifecycle.
• Cross-Functional Alignment: Serve as the central liaison between Sales, Design, Production, and external suppliers to keep projects aligned with key milestones.

Production, Planning & Quality Assurance

• Routing & Planning: Develop detailed job routing sheets, production workflows, and timelines to optimize manufacturing efficiency.
• Prototype & Quality Control: Review and approve first-off production runs, prototypes, and finished goods to ensure strict adherence to quality specifications.
• Troubleshooting: Provide hands-on technical support and problem-solving on the shop floor to resolve production issues in real time.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Engineering, Industrial Design, Manufacturing, or a related technical discipline.
• 5+ years of hands-on project management or technical engineering experience in Point of Purchase (POP) displays, store fixtures, or custom manufacturing environments is strongly preferred.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and modern Project Management software.
• Strong background in reading engineering drawings, job costing, vendor negotiation, and materials sourcing.
• Exceptional analytical and technical troubleshooting capabilities.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills for cross-departmental and vendor liaison.
• Superior time-management skills with the ability to manage competing priorities, tight deadlines, and changing project scopes under pressure.
