Role Description The Sales Account Executive is a full-time, hybrid role based in Calgary, AB. This position is responsible for identifying and qualifying new business opportunities, conducting lead generation activities, and managing the sales pipeline for Expera’s IT managed services and cyber security solutions. Day-to-day tasks include building and maintaining strong relationships with prospective clients, conducting discovery meetings, preparing proposals, and delivering solution-focused presentations. The Sales Account Executive collaborates closely with technical and delivery teams to align client requirements with Expera’s offerings, negotiate contracts, and ensure a smooth transition from sales to service delivery.

Qualifications

Strong sales skills with experience in prospecting, qualifying opportunities, and managing a sales pipeline.
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present complex technical solutions clearly to diverse stakeholders.
Relationship-building and customer service skills focused on trust, responsiveness, and client success.
Experience selling IT managed services, cloud solutions, or cyber security offerings is highly beneficial.
Demonstrated ability to meet or exceed sales targets in a B2B environment.
Strong negotiation and consultative selling skills, with a solution-oriented mindset.
Proficiency with CRM tools and basic understanding of modern IT infrastructure and security concepts.
Post-secondary education in Business, Marketing, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
Ability to work on-site in Calgary, AB and travel locally to meet clients as needed.
