Original job description

Position: Office Services Associate

Location: 7070 Mississauga Road Mississauga ON L5N 5M8 – Onsite

Duration: 12 months

Pay: $18/hr

Shift: 8:00-4:30 Must be flexible to cover absences of Receptionist (7:45 start time)

Role Overview

Provide reception, mailroom, courier, administrative, and print center support while ensuring smooth day-to-day office operations.

Key Responsibilities

Provide Reception coverage, greet visitors, manage sign-in and visitor badges.

Coordinate taxis, couriers, mail, shipments, and IT hardware distribution.

Process inbound/outbound mail and courier shipments, including international documentation.

Manage courier requests, invoices, tracking, and vendor issues.

Coordinate new-hire shipments, swag inventory, office supplies, and equipment.

Support mailroom, receiving, and duplicating operations.

Manage print requests, document production, and print equipment maintenance.

Coordinate vendors, POs, repairs, and maintenance schedules.

Maintain records, reports, SOPs, and follow safety/compliance procedures.

Act as the campus Transportation of Dangerous Goods Agent.

Requirements

Experience in office services, customer service, reception, mailroom, facilities, logistics, or administration.

Strong organizational, communication, and customer service skills.

Good attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks.

Microsoft Office skills.

Bilingual English/French is an asset.

TDG experience/certification is an asset.
