Job Description: Senior Application Production Support Engineer
Toronto - 4 days a week on site/ week (Hybrid), F2F interview required
Length – 7+ months (solid chance of extension)
Rate- $51/hr-$60/hr
Required Experience
- Experience in Application Support / Production Support.
- Strong hands-on experience providing L2/L3 support for enterprise applications.
- Experience working in highly available, business-critical production environments.
- Previous experience supporting Capital Markets, Investment Banking, or Financial Services
- applications is strongly preferred.
Must-Have Technical Skills
- L2/L3 Application / Production Support
- Python or similar scripting/automation language
- Linux and/or Windows environments
- Strong working knowledge of SQL
- ITIL processes, including:
- Incident Management
- Problem Management
- Change Management
- Strong troubleshooting and Root Cause Analysis (RCA) capabilities
- Production monitoring, application stability, and proactive support experience

Provide L2/L3 support for enterprise applications in highly available, business-critical production environments. Monitor production systems, maintain application stability, troubleshoot issues, and perform root cause analysis.
Requirements
Requires hands-on application or production support experience, scripting or automation skills, familiarity with Linux and/or Windows, and strong SQL knowledge. ITIL process experience and support experience in capital markets, investment banking, or financial services are strongly preferred.
