Title: The Application Monitoring Specialist
Location Missisauga (only Wed in office per week)
Duration – 6 months initially
Pay Range – $55 - $70
Experience:
- 2+ years of experience managing monitoring solutions
- Experience with monitoring and logging tools like Dynatrace, Nagios, Grafana, Splunk, Kibana
- Experience with Linux and the command line interface
- Experience with scripting/programming languages (Bash, Java, Python, PowerShell)
- A working understanding of web infrastructure (Web servers, load balancers, application servers)
Nice To Have Skills:
- Understanding of infrastructure components (Virtualization, Operating Systems, networks, storage)
- Cloud technologies (Azure, AWS)
- Database experience with PostgreSQL, SQL

Responsibilities
Manage application monitoring solutions and use monitoring and logging tools to support application operations. Work with Linux command-line tools, scripting languages, and web infrastructure components.
Requirements
Requires at least two years of experience managing monitoring solutions, familiarity with tools such as Dynatrace, Nagios, Grafana, Splunk, or Kibana, and experience with Linux and command-line interfaces. Candidates should also have scripting or programming experience and a working understanding of web servers, load balancers, and application servers; knowledge of infrastructure, cloud technologies, or databases is an asset.
