Job Title: Business Systems Analyst
Location: Toronto, ON (4 days onsite per week)
Duration: 6-month contract
Key Responsibilities
- Gather and document business and technical requirements for API integrations.
- Define API specifications, interface requirements, and data mappings.
- Analyze REST API requests/responses and troubleshoot integration issues.
- Write SQL queries to validate and reconcile data across systems.
- Create process flows, sequence diagrams, and integration documentation.
- Support API validation, integration testing, and UAT.
- Collaborate with vendors and technical teams to deliver integration solutions.
Must-Have Skills
- 8+ years of Business Systems Analysis experience in enterprise environments.
- Strong experience with REST APIs, JSON/XML, and API integrations.
- Hands-on experience with Postman and/or Swagger.
- Strong SQL skills and cross-system data validation experience.
- Experience documenting API specifications, interface requirements, and data mappings.
- Understanding of SDLC and Agile methodologies.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
