Job Title: Data Engineer
Contract: 3+ months Contract with extension or solid possibility to Hire
Location: Toronto – Onsite only
Required Technical Skills:-
- Azure Databricks, PySpark, Spark SQL, Delta Lake, Python, and SQL.
- Azure Data Lake Storage (ADLS) and Azure Data Factory (ADF).
- ETL/ELT development, data modeling, data warehousing, and performance tuning.
- Git, Azure DevOps, and CI/CD implementation.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 7+ years of experience in Data Engineering.
- 4+ years of hands-on experience with Azure Databricks.
- Experience delivering enterprise-level cloud data platforms.
- Databricks Associate or Professional certification is a strong advantage.

Responsibilities
Develop and deliver enterprise-level cloud data platforms using Azure Databricks and related Azure data services. Build and optimize ETL/ELT workflows, data models, and data warehouse solutions, and implement CI/CD practices.
Requirements
Requires 7+ years of data engineering experience, including 4+ years of hands-on Azure Databricks experience, and a bachelor’s degree in a related field. Candidates should have experience with the listed Azure, Spark, programming, data engineering, and DevOps technologies; a Databricks Associate or Professional certification is a strong advantage.
