Our client, a leader in innovative transportation solutions, is seeking a Full Stack Application Developer to join their dynamic team. As a Full Stack Application Developer, you will be part of the Technology Development Department supporting their new project. The ideal candidate will demonstrate adaptability, strong problem-solving skills, and a proactive mindset, which will align successfully in the organization.
Job Title: Full Stack Application Developer
Location: Toronto, ON – 4 days/week onsite)
Pay Range: $85 to $95hr (Incorporated + HST)
Contract Duration: 12 Months + Extension.
What's the Job?
- Develop and maintain full-stack applications using React Native (Expo), GraphQL, and Firebase for analytics, crash reporting, and configuration management.
- Implement AI-enabled features utilizing Cursor or Claude Code to enhance application intelligence and user experience.
- Design, develop, and deploy scalable solutions on AWS and serverless architectures, ensuring high performance and reliability.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define project requirements and deliver innovative solutions within tight deadlines.
- Participate in DevOps practices, including CI/CD pipeline creation, to streamline deployment processes and improve operational efficiency.
What's Needed?
- Extensive experience in full-stack development with React Native, Expo, and TypeScript.
- Hands-on experience with GraphQL, Apollo Client, and related data management tools.
- Proficiency in backend development using Node.js and familiarity with AWS/serverless environments.
- Strong understanding of DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and multi-environment build processes.
- AI-enabled development experience using Cursor or Claude Code.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and take ownership of end-to-end development lifecycle.
