Our client, a leader in innovative transportation solutions, is seeking a Full Stack Application Developer to join their dynamic team. As a Full Stack Application Developer, you will be part of the Technology Development Department supporting their new project. The ideal candidate will demonstrate adaptability, strong problem-solving skills, and a proactive mindset, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Full Stack Application Developer

Location: Toronto, ON – 4 days/week onsite)

Pay Range: $85 to $95hr (Incorporated + HST)

Contract Duration: 12 Months + Extension.

What's the Job?

Develop and maintain full-stack applications using React Native (Expo), GraphQL, and Firebase for analytics, crash reporting, and configuration management.
Implement AI-enabled features utilizing Cursor or Claude Code to enhance application intelligence and user experience.
Design, develop, and deploy scalable solutions on AWS and serverless architectures, ensuring high performance and reliability.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define project requirements and deliver innovative solutions within tight deadlines.
Participate in DevOps practices, including CI/CD pipeline creation, to streamline deployment processes and improve operational efficiency.

What's Needed?

Extensive experience in full-stack development with React Native, Expo, and TypeScript.
Hands-on experience with GraphQL, Apollo Client, and related data management tools.
Proficiency in backend development using Node.js and familiarity with AWS/serverless environments.
Strong understanding of DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and multi-environment build processes.
AI-enabled development experience using Cursor or Claude Code.
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and take ownership of end-to-end development lifecycle.
