Job Title: Quality Engineer
Location: Toronto, ON (Onsite)
Length – 4+ months contract (extension possibility)
Rate- $36/HR- $42/hr,
Required Skills & Qualifications
- 5–8 years of experience in Quality Engineering, Software Testing, or related roles.
- Minimum 3+ years of hands-on experience with Playwright for UI and End-to-End test automation.
- Strong experience in designing and implementing automation testing frameworks.
- Extensive experience in data validation, database testing, and enterprise data platform testing.
- Strong proficiency in SQL and database validation techniques.
- Experience testing data platforms, including Databricks.
- Hands-on experience with Python scripting for automation and data validation.
- Solid understanding of software testing methodologies, test planning, and defect management.
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum development environments.
- Proven experience handling production defects and driving issues through resolution.

Requirements
Requires 5–8 years of experience in quality engineering, software testing, or a related role, including at least 3 years of hands-on Playwright experience. Candidates should have strong automation framework, SQL, Databricks, Python, Agile/Scrum, test planning, and defect resolution experience.
