Job Title: Risk Analyst
Location:Toronto, ON
Work Arrangement: Hybrid – 2 days/week in office (Wednesday, Thursday + 1st Friday of the month)
Contract: 12+ months
Rate: Up to $50/hour INC and $42/hr on T4
Role Overview
We are looking for a Risk Analyst to support Risk Management with control testing, primarily focused on regulatory controls.
Responsibilities
- Perform testing of Risk Management controls.
- Test both control design adequacy and operating effectiveness.
- Identify populations, determine sample sizes, select samples, and execute testing.
- Document test results and findings in eGRC.
- Identify and document control gaps/deficiencies when required.
- Work with stakeholders and team members to communicate testing results and solutions.
- Manage assigned control testing activities and timelines.
Must Have
- 3–5 years of hands-on control testing experience.
- Experience in internal audit and/or external audit.
- Strong understanding of controls and control testing processes.
- Good communication, organization, and analytical skills.
