Role: AZURE SQL Database Admin
Type: Full-Time Permanent (Grade 7)
Location: Scarborough, ON
Hybrid: 2 days onsite/week (Wednesday anchor day + 1 flexible day)

Responsibilities
Administer Azure SQL databases and managed instances, while applying strong SQL Server DBA expertise to performance tuning, backup and recovery, and high availability. Plan and execute migrations from on-premises SQL Server environments to Azure, and provision and manage cloud infrastructure through code and automation.
Requirements
Candidates should have hands-on experience administering on-premises SQL Server and Azure cloud databases, including migration planning and execution. The role emphasizes scripting, automation, and Infrastructure as Code or similar approaches for provisioning and managing cloud environments without relying on manual portal administration.
