SAP Finance RTR / A2R Lead

We are seeking an experienced SAP Finance RTR (Record to Report) and A2R (Acquire to Retire) Lead to support a major SAP S/4HANA transformation initiative.

This role requires deep expertise in SAP Finance with a particular focus on Record to Report processes and Asset Accounting (Acquire to Retire). The successful candidate will provide functional leadership across project phases, supporting solution design, requirements workshops, configuration oversight, testing, deployment, and finance process transformation activities.

The ideal candidate will possess strong SAP S/4HANA Finance experience and extensive knowledge of financial accounting, financial close processes, reporting, and fixed asset lifecycle management.

Responsibilities:

• Lead SAP Finance RTR and A2R workstreams across design, build, testing, deployment, and hypercare phases

• Facilitate fit-to-standard and fit-gap workshops with Finance and Accounting stakeholders

• Define business requirements and translate them into SAP S/4HANA Finance solutions

• Lead Record to Report (RTR) processes including General Ledger, period-end close, financial reporting, allocations, reconciliations, and compliance activities

• Lead Acquire to Retire (A2R) processes including asset creation, capitalization, depreciation, retirement, transfers, and asset reporting

• Support integration between SAP Finance and Procurement, Project Systems, Treasury, Banking, Tax, Payroll, and other enterprise applications

• Collaborate with technical teams on interfaces, APIs, SAP Integration Suite, middleware, and system integrations

• Support end-to-end testing activities including SIT, UAT, regression testing, and defect management

• Review configuration, functional specifications, RICEFW objects, and solution designs

• Support risk, issue, dependency, and decision management within the assigned workstream

• Identify opportunities to optimize and automate finance and asset management processes using SAP capabilities

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience

• 7+ years of SAP Finance implementation experience

• Strong expertise in SAP S/4HANA Finance solutions

• Deep expertise in Record to Report (RTR) processes

• Deep expertise in Acquire to Retire (A2R) and Asset Accounting processes

• Experience supporting enterprise-scale SAP transformation programs

• Strong understanding of accounting principles, financial controls, month-end close, and asset lifecycle management

• Experience facilitating workshops and leading stakeholder discussions

• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills

• Ability to work independently in a complex enterprise environment
