About the Role:

This role supports strategic sourcing and supplier management activities, from supplier selection and negotiation through cost management and contractual agreement follow-up. It is suited for a professional with strong analytical, negotiation, and prioritization skills who can collaborate effectively with engineering, quality, and international supplier teams.

Responsibilities:

Develop and implement sourcing strategies for strategic material and service categories.
Lead supplier selection, evaluation, negotiation, and contract management processes.
Act as a key partner in the development of new components in collaboration with engineering, quality, and strategic supplier teams.
Negotiate and ensure compliance with supplier agreements, including manufacturing lead times, cost structures, raw material fluctuations, and exchange rate variations.
Manage the budget associated with your assigned parts portfolio and ensure continuous updates of product cost information.
Analyze market trends, monitor cost developments, and implement cost-reduction initiatives.

Qualifications:

Relevant education and/or experience in procurement, business administration, engineering, or a related field.
Fluency in both French and English, written and spoken, is required, as the individual will represent BRP with international suppliers. Spanish is considered an asset.
Strong knowledge of Windows operating environments and SAP.
Excellent organizational skills and ability to effectively manage priorities.
Strong analytical capabilities and negotiation skills.
Excellent communication skills and a proven ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.

Lieu : Valcourt, Québec
Mode de travail : hybride

À propos du rôle:

Ce poste soutient les activités d’approvisionnement stratégique et de gestion des fournisseurs, de la sélection et de la négociation jusqu’au suivi des coûts et des ententes contractuelles. Il s’adresse à une personne possédant de solides compétences en analyse, en négociation et en gestion des priorités, capable de collaborer efficacement avec les équipes d’ingénierie, de qualité et les fournisseurs internationaux.

Responsabilités:

Élaborer et déployer des stratégies d’approvisionnement pour les catégories de matériaux et de services stratégiques.
Piloter les processus de sélection, d’évaluation, de négociation et de gestion contractuelle des fournisseurs.
Agir à titre de partenaire clé dans le développement de nouvelles composantes en collaboration avec les équipes d’ingénierie, de qualité et les fournisseurs stratégiques.
Négocier et assurer le respect des différentes ententes fournisseurs, notamment en matière de délais de fabrication, de structure de coûts, de fluctuations des matières premières et de taux de change.
Gérer le budget associé à votre portefeuille de pièces et assurer la mise à jour continue des coûts de revient.
Analyser les tendances du marché, surveiller l’évolution des coûts et mettre en œuvre des initiatives de réduction des dépenses.

Qualifications:

Expérience ou formation pertinente dans le domaine des approvisionnements, de l’administration, de l’ingénierie ou dans un domaine connexe.
Bilinguisme essentiel, tant à l’oral qu’à l’écrit, en français et en anglais, puisque la personne en poste représentera BRP auprès de fournisseurs internationaux. La maîtrise de l’espagnol constitue un atout.
Excellente connaissance des environnements Windows et de SAP.
Excellentes aptitudes en organisation du travail et en gestion des priorités.
Forte capacité d’analyse et solides compétences en négociation.
Excellentes habiletés de communication et grande capacité à travailler efficacement au sein d’une équipe.
