EXPLEO GROUP CANADA is looking for a Project Engineer – Connected Vehicle Product Development to join our team in Valcourt, QC.

Location: Valcourt, Quebec
Work arrangement: Hybrid, 3 days per week on-site in Valcourt
Mandate duration: 6 months, renewable
Salary range: CAD $75,000 to $100,000. The applicable salary will be determined based on various criteria, including the candidate’s skills, experience, and qualifications.
Relocation bonus: Up to CAD $2,500, or up to CAD $1,500 plus 1 month of accommodation.

About the Role:

This role supports the development of connected vehicle products, from defining embedded system requirements to vehicle validation. It is ideal for a project engineer with experience in electronics, embedded software, and vehicle architecture who can coordinate effectively across product, software, and validation teams.

Responsibilities:

Work closely with product teams to understand their needs and transform their ideas into concrete and innovative solutions.
Define system and software requirements for embedded modules in order to bring new features to life.
Participate in and validate the development of new electronic modules, including coordinating validation activities to ensure optimal performance.
Perform functional validations directly on the vehicle, under real conditions, before production release.
Ensure the delivery of reliable, high-performing products aligned with quality standards.
Serve as a bridge between software teams, validation, and product lines to ensure smooth and efficient development.

Qualifications:

Hold a bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, computer engineering, or a related discipline.
Required programming languages and software: knowledge of Atlassian tools (Jira, Confluence) and ETAS INCA.
Have knowledge of embedded systems, electronics, and integrated software.
Mastery of vehicle architecture.
Possess programming skills (Android, MATLAB, embedded software).
Understand a product development process.
Have strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Possess organizational skills, autonomy, and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Experience: 2–5 years of relevant experience.
Languages of communication: Bilingualism required (French/English).

Ce poste soutient le développement de produits pour véhicules connectés, de la définition des exigences des systèmes embarqués jusqu’à la validation sur véhicule. Il s’adresse à un(e) ingénieur(e) de projet ayant de l’expérience en électronique, logiciels embarqués et architecture de véhicule, capable de collaborer efficacement avec les équipes produit, logiciel et validation.

Responsabilités:

Collaborer étroitement avec les équipes de produits pour comprendre leurs besoins et transformer leurs idées en solutions concrètes et innovantes.
Définir les exigences des systèmes et des logiciels des modules embarqués afin de donner vie à de nouvelles fonctionnalités.
Participer au développement de nouveaux modules électroniques et valider la coordination des activités de validation pour assurer une performance optimale.
Réaliser des validations fonctionnelles directement sur véhicule, en conditions réelles, avant leur mise en production.
Garantir la livraison de produits fiables, performants et alignés sur les standards de qualité.
Servir de pont entre les équipes logicielles, la validation et les lignes de produits pour assurer un développement fluide et efficace.

Qualifications:

Détenir un baccalauréat en génie électrique, informatique ou discipline connexe.
Langages de programmation et logiciels demandés: connaissance avec les outils Atlassian (Jira, Confluence) et avec ETAS INCA.
Avoir des connaissances des systèmes embarqués, de l’électronique et des logiciels intégrés.
Maîtrise de l’architecture des véhicules.
Posséder des compétences en programmation (Android, MATLAB, logiciels embarqués).
