Explorance is looking for a QA Engineer to help ensure the quality, reliability, performance, and security of our SaaS products.

Working closely with Developers, Product Managers, and other technical teams, you will contribute throughout the software development lifecycle - from reviewing requirements and identifying risks to executing tests, expanding automation, and supporting successful releases.

We're looking for someone who combines strong testing fundamentals, technical curiosity, and an automation mindset, while embracing AI and emerging technologies to make testing smarter and more efficient.

What you'll be working on:

Quality Engineering & Testing

Review requirements, specifications, and technical designs to identify risks, gaps, and testability considerations.
Develop and execute test plans, test scenarios, and test cases based on product requirements and technical risk.
Perform functional, integration, regression, API, database, and exploratory testing.
Identify, document, and track defects, working closely with development teams through investigation and resolution.
Contribute to release readiness by evaluating quality risks and ensuring appropriate test coverage.

Test Automation & Technical Testing

Design, develop, execute, and maintain automated tests for APIs, web applications, and other product components.
Identify opportunities to replace repetitive manual testing with reliable and maintainable automation.
Contribute to automated testing within CI/CD workflows.
Test REST APIs, JSON-based services, and application data across relational SQL and/or NoSQL databases.
Design and execute performance testing for APIs, databases, and other critical components.
Support troubleshooting and root-cause analysis of application performance, reliability, and quality issues.

AI & Continuous Improvement

Use AI-assisted tools to support test-case generation, test-data creation, automation scripting, defect analysis, and troubleshooting.
Explore opportunities to use AI to improve test coverage and QA efficiency while appropriately validating AI-generated outputs.
Track quality metrics and use findings to identify risks and improvement opportunities.
Help improve testing processes, standards, automation, and quality engineering practices.
Develop strong product expertise and collaborate across QA, Engineering, and Product to continuously improve software quality.

What we're looking for

Professional experience in software quality assurance, quality engineering, or software testing.
Strong understanding of testing methodologies, test design, defect management, and regression testing.
Experience testing web applications, REST APIs, and JSON-based services.
Experience with relational SQL databases and/or NoSQL technologies.
Experience with test automation and maintainable automated testing practices.
Ability to troubleshoot software issues involving application behaviour, performance, data, or reliability.

Vos missions:

Élaborer et exécuter des plans, scénarios et cas de test basés sur les exigences du produit et les risques techniques.

Automatisation des tests et tests techniques

Concevoir, développer, exécuter et maintenir des tests automatisés pour les API, les applications web et d'autres composants du produit.
Identifier les opportunités de remplacer les tests manuels répétitifs par des solutions d'automatisation fiables et faciles à maintenir.
Contribuer aux tests automatisés au sein des flux de travail CI/CD.
les API REST, les services basés sur JSON et les données applicatives dans des bases de données relationnelles (SQL) et/ou NoSQL.
Concevoir et exécuter des tests de performance pour les API, les bases de données et d'autres composants critiques.
Participer au diagnostic et à l'analyse des causes profondes des problèmes de performance, de fiabilité et de qualité des applications.

IA et amélioration continue

Utiliser des outils assistés par IA pour faciliter la génération de cas de test, la création de données de test, l'écriture de scripts d'automatisation, l'analyse des anomalies et le diagnostic des problèmes.
Explorer les possibilités d'utiliser l'IA pour améliorer la couverture des tests et l'efficacité de la QA, tout en validant de manière appropriée les résultats générés par l'IA.
Suivre les indicateurs de qualité et utiliser les résultats obtenus pour identifier les risques et les opportunités d'amélioration.
