Summary

Expresco Foods was founded on the concept of filling a niche in the food industry with ready-to-eat meat skewers. Today, our core business is the production and distribution of value-added, portion-controlled protein products to the foodservice, retail, convenience, and club channels under the Expresco brand and our customers' private labels. Expresco is a subsidiary of Premium Brands Holdings Corporation (TSX: PBH), a publicly traded company with annual sales exceeding $7.0 billion.

Reporting to the Corporate Controller, the Accounts Receivable Agent is responsible for maintaining customer accounts, processing invoices and cash receipts, following up on overdue balances, resolving deductions and disputes, and supporting month-end financial reporting. The role works closely with Sales, Customer Service, and Operations to ensure timely collection of customer receivables and accurate customer account records.

Responsibilities

· Process and distribute customer invoices accurately and timely.

· Apply customer payments and reconcile cash receipts.

· Monitor customer aging reports and follow up on overdue accounts.

· Investigate, track, and resolve customer deductions, chargebacks, and short payments.

· Reconcile customer statements and account balances.

· Coordinate with Sales, Customer Service, Logistics, and Production to resolve billing discrepancies.

· Prepare weekly and monthly AR aging summaries for management.

· Maintain customer master data and credit information.

· Support external audits and internal control requirements.

Skills and Abilities

· DEC or equivalent education in accounting.

· 1 to 3 years of experience in accounts receivable or general accounting.

· Proficiency in English and French.

· Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

· Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.

Responsabilités

· Traiter et distribuer les factures clients avec exactitude et dans les délais prescrits.

· Appliquer les paiements reçus des clients et effectuer le rapprochement des encaissements.

· Assurer le suivi des rapports d'ancienneté des comptes clients et effectuer les relances nécessaires pour les comptes en souffrance.

· Examiner, suivre et résoudre les déductions clients, les rétrofacturations et les écarts de paiement.

· Effectuer le rapprochement des relevés et des soldes des comptes clients.

· Collaborer avec les équipes des ventes, du service à la clientèle, de la logistique et de la production afin de résoudre les écarts de facturation.

· Préparer des rapports hebdomadaires et mensuels sur l'ancienneté des comptes clients à l'intention de la direction.

· Maintenir à jour les données maîtresses des clients ainsi que les informations relatives au crédit.

· Participer aux audits externes et assurer le respect des contrôles internes.

Compétences et aptitudes

· DEC en comptabilité ou formation équivalente.

· De 1 à 3 ans d'expérience en gestion des comptes clients ou en comptabilité générale.

· Excellente maîtrise du français et bonne maîtrise de l'anglais, tant à l'oral qu'à l'écrit.

· Grand souci du détail et excellentes compétences organisationnelles.

· Excellentes habiletés en communication et en résolution de problèmes.

· Bonne maîtrise de la suite Microsoft Office (Word, Excel et Outlook).
