We are looking for a Multimedia Project Management Intern to join the Brand team and support the coordination, planning, and delivery of visual content for the company’s internal and external campaigns.

Within Extreme, the Brand team is responsible for bringing the Extreme brand to life. Our team is made up of the:

Creative Team: Creators of the visual elements that define our brand identity, from digital assets to event visuals.

Content Team: The wordsmiths behind the messaging, responsible for crafting the language that tells our story across all platforms.

Events & Partnerships Team: Experts in organizing high-profile events and managing partnerships, ensuring our brand is represented on the biggest stages.

We also play a key role in naming and brand identity, ensuring consistency and alignment with our values. We collaborate closely to ensure our brand is cohesive, engaging, and impactful across all touchpoints.

Responsibilities

The Multimedia Project Management Intern helps coordinate and support the creation of digital artwork, including advertisements, infographics, presentation designs, video content, animations, visual effects, and other digital media.

Reporting into the Brand Team’s Creative Director, this role supports project planning, creative workflow coordination, timeline tracking, and communication between team members to help ensure projects are delivered on brief and on time. The intern will also have opportunities to learn current tools, trends, and best practices in multimedia production and digital art.

Other key responsibilities include:

An eye for detail and a creative mind to develop original and innovative designs.

Interpret project briefs, track project details, and help ensure creative assets meet the required specifications, timelines, and brand guidelines.

Support project management activities such as organizing tasks, updating schedules, preparing status notes, and helping the team manage deadlines.

A good understanding of color theory, typography, and illustration and must be able to work with a range of digital art tools.

Must also have the ability to work with a variety of file types, including vector graphics, raster graphics.

Requirements

Portfolio of digital media and traditional artwork

Excellent skills in digital art software, including Adobe After Effects, Adobe Premiere Adobe Illustrator and Adobe Photoshop, and PowerPoint

No previous professional experience required; interest in multimedia production, project coordination, or digital marketing is an asset

Ability to stay organized, manage priorities, and help track deadlines

Excellent visualization skills and excellent communication skills to collaborate with co-workers and clients

Compensation: This role has a market-competitive salary with an anticipated base compensation range of 20-28hr CAD. The posted range reflects the amount Extreme Networks reasonably and in good faith expects to pay for this role upon hire. This range is set using objective, gender-neutral criteria based on skills, experience, responsibility, and working conditions. Actual compensation offered will depend on the selected candidate's experience, qualifications, skills, and work location.
