As an integrated company, we are uniquely positioned to offer you a wide range of career prospects and growth opportunities through the course of your career with us. We invite you to bring your ideas and help create sustainable solutions that improve quality of life and meet society’s evolving needs.

Come be part of the Upstream and Global Operations Departments at Imperial which has more than 140 year history in Canada. Our offices are located across Canada.

What role you will play in our team

As an Engineering Student, you'll work alongside multidisciplinary teams that may include engineering, operations, maintenance, technical specialists, and geoscience professionals to support safe, reliable, and efficient operations. Analyze operational, production, maintenance, reliability, and inspection data to identify trends and support decision-making.
Participate in equipment performance monitoring, troubleshooting activities, and root cause failure investigations.
Assist in the development of inspection, maintenance, integrity, and reliability programs for facilities, pipelines, process equipment, and rotating machinery.
Prepare engineering assessments, technical evaluations, and engineering designs that support safe and reliable operations.
Support operational improvement initiatives, equipment enhancement projects, and long-term asset management strategies.
Contribute to forecasting, performance reviews, technical studies, and optimization activities.
Develop technical reports, presentations, recommendations, and project documentation.
Work closely with operations, maintenance, contractors, vendors, and technical subject matter experts to support day-to-day operations and projects.
Participate in training, mentorship, and professional development opportunities while building field-based engineering experience.
