The opportunity

EY's Infrastructure Advisory team is one of Canada's leading advisors on major infrastructure investments, helping governments, investors, developers and infrastructure owners make better decisions across the full lifecycle of complex capital projects.

As part of EY-Parthenon, you will join a market-leading Toronto team advising on some of Canada's largest and most transformative infrastructure initiatives. Our current mandates include Canada's first high-speed rail system (ALTO), major interprovincial energy corridor initiatives, provincial infrastructure planning programs, passenger rail strategies, healthcare infrastructure developments, and large-scale social infrastructure investments.

Our work sits at the intersection of strategy, policy, commercial structuring, procurement, financing and project delivery. We help clients answer some of their most important questions: What should be built? How should it be funded? Who should bear risk? What delivery model will create the greatest long-term value?

This role offers a unique opportunity to work directly with senior government officials, infrastructure owners, developers, investors and lenders on projects that shape how Canadians move, live and work. You will gain exposure across the infrastructure lifecycle, develop deep commercial and financial expertise, and take on meaningful client-facing responsibility from day one.

Your key responsibilities

We are seeking experienced professionals to join our Infrastructure Advisory team as either an Associate or Senior Associate (Manager), with a focus on the strategic, commercial and financial aspects of major infrastructure projects.

You will work alongside experienced practitioners across a broad range of engagements spanning:

Strategic planning and infrastructure policy development
Business cases and investment decision support
Commercial and financial structuring
Procurement and transaction advisory
Alternative funding and delivery model assessments
Infrastructure financing and capital markets advisory
Asset management, renewal and long-term value optimization

You will play an active role in delivering high-quality client engagements, managing workstreams, building client relationships, developing junior team members, and contributing to business development activities across the practice.

To qualify for the role

You will have:

An undergraduate degree in business, commerce, economics, engineering, law or a related discipline
Associate: 4+ years of relevant experience
Senior Associate: 6+ years of relevant experience
Experience in one or more of the following areas:

Major capital project planning, development or delivery
Commercial advisory and project structuring
Alternative delivery or funding model assessments
Financial analysis, economic analysis or financial modelling
Infrastructure transactions, project finance or capital markets
Business case development and investment decision support

Preferred qualifications

Experience working across the infrastructure sector, including professional services, project developers, owners/operators, government agencies, investors, lenders, pension funds, engineering firms and project delivery organizations.
Strong technical and analytical capabilities, including advanced financial or economic modelling, infrastructure financing, project finance, debt capital markets, and financial analysis.
Experience supporting major investment decisions, infrastructure transactions, procurement processes, financing mandates, or capital project delivery initiatives.
Advanced academic credentials or professional designations such as an MBA, Master's degree, CFA, CBV or equivalent.
Demonstrated leadership experience, including managing teams and mentoring junior professionals.
Knowledge of infrastructure procurement, commercial structuring, commercial contracts and major project delivery models (e.g., DBB, DB, CMAR, PDB, Alliance, P3).
Exposure to Indigenous participation, Indigenous equity investment, Indigenous-led infrastructure initiatives, or engagement with Indigenous rights holders.

EY reports salary ranges in accordance with applicable provincial pay transparency legislation. Individual salaries within the anticipated salary ranges noted below are determined through a wide variety of factors including but not limited to internal equity, education, relevant experience, knowledge, and applicable skill sets.

Toronto: $98,000 to$138,000
