Security Agent
You ensure the safety and wellbeing of your fellow employees, guests and visitors. You are attentive, efficient and committed, and will ensure your property remains a safe, enjoyable workplace and travel destination.
This is a full-time, permanent position.
Starting Rate of Pay: $23.30 per hour.
We recognize tenure through our compensation - hourly rates increase after 6 months and then yearly to three years. At three years the pay rate for this role would be $29.20.
Job Duties Include:

- Ensure the overall safety and security of the guests, employees and property premises
- Investigate and report any violations to law/property policy, occurrences of accidents, complaints, criminal activity and crisis situations
- Conduct regular floor patrols, cash counts and crowd control
- Assist guests regarding hotel facilities in an informative and helpful way
- Previous security/hospitality experience is required
- OFA level 2 First Aid Certification required
- Previous security/hospitality experience is required
- Class 5 Drivers License is required
- Possess a valid British Columbia Basic Security Training (BST) License

Responsibilities
Maintain the safety and security of guests, employees, and hotel property through patrols, cash counts, and crowd control. Investigate and report policy violations, accidents, complaints, criminal activity, and crisis situations, while assisting guests with information about hotel facilities.
Requirements
Previous security or hospitality experience, OFA Level 2 First Aid certification, and a Class 5 driver's license are required. Candidates must also hold a valid British Columbia Basic Security Training (BST) license and be legally eligible to work in Canada.
