Social Media Manager

Far Niente Wine Estates | Napa Valley, California

Bring Iconic Wine Brands to Life. One Story at a Time.

Great brands have great stories. At Far Niente Wine Estates, we're looking for a creative, digitally savvy Social Media Manager who knows how to turn those stories into captivating content, meaningful connections, and unforgettable brand experiences.

Home to a collection of celebrated Napa Valley wine brands - including Far Niente, Nickel & Nickel, Dolce, EnRoute, Bella Union, and Post & Beam - we believe exceptional wine deserves exceptional storytelling.

We're seeking someone who can capture the beauty of our vineyards, the artistry behind our wines, and the experiences that make our brands special - and translate them into social content that inspires, engages, and builds lasting connections with our audiences.

If you're equal parts creative visionary, strategic thinker, and social media enthusiast, we'd love to meet you.

The Opportunity

As our Social Media Manager, you'll help shape how our brands show up in the digital world. Reporting to the Director of Digital, you'll lead the strategy, creative execution, and performance of our social media presence across ten accounts.

This is an opportunity to combine your passion for storytelling with your expertise in digital marketing, working alongside a collaborative team to elevate some of Napa Valley's most recognized luxury wine brands.

What You'll Do

Create Content That Captivates

Bring our brands to life through compelling photography, video, engaging copy, and creative campaigns.
Develop and manage a dynamic social media content calendar across multiple brands and platforms.
Collaborate on photo and video shoots, from creative concepts to on-site production.
Find fresh, innovative ways to showcase our wines, people, vineyards, and experiences.

Build Communities and Brand Connections

Grow and engage our online communities through authentic, thoughtful interactions.
Cultivate relationships with influencers and content creators who align with our brands.
Partner with colleagues across marketing to deliver a consistent, elevated brand experience.

Turn Creativity Into Results

Develop social media strategies and campaigns that drive awareness, engagement, and audience growth.
Monitor performance, analyze trends, and use data to continually refine content and strategy.
Experiment with creative approaches, messaging, and formats to discover what resonates.
Support paid social campaigns, including Meta advertising initiatives.

Stay Ahead of What's Next

Keep your finger on the pulse of emerging platforms, trends, and digital innovation.
Bring new ideas, fresh perspectives, and a willingness to challenge the expected.
Share insights and recommendations that help our brands stand out in an ever-evolving digital landscape.

What You'll Bring

We're looking for someone who combines exceptional creative instincts with the discipline to execute and the curiosity to keep learning.

At least 3 years of experience in social media management, digital marketing, or a similar role.
A bachelor's degree in marketing or a related discipline.
A strong understanding of social media platforms, content strategy, and audience engagement.
Excellent storytelling, writing, and communication skills.
Experience using analytics and performance insights to optimize social media campaigns.
Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple brands, priorities, and projects.
A collaborative spirit, creative energy, and a commitment to delivering exceptional work.

What Will Make You Stand Out

An eye for beautiful, compelling visual content and a passion for photography or video.
An appreciation for luxury brands, hospitality, lifestyle, or the world of wine.
The ability to balance elevated brand storytelling with the fast-moving nature of social media.
A natural curiosity about what inspires consumers and creates meaningful brand connections.

Why Far Niente Wine Estates?

At Far Niente Wine Estates, our passion for excellence extends beyond the wines we create. It lives in our people, our vineyards, our hospitality, and the experiences we share.

You'll have the opportunity to work with an extraordinary portfolio of brands, collaborate with talented colleagues, and help shape the digital presence of a company rooted in Napa Valley heritage while focused on the future.

Your creativity could help tell our next great story.

Ready to make your mark? We'd love to hear from you.

We are an Equal Opportunity Employer that is committed to inclusion. We work to create an environment of fair opportunity for all applicants without regard to race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, disability, veteran status, or other legally protected characteristics.
