Programmatic Ad Ops Specialist

Location: Out west of GTA

Compensation - $65-85K

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail‑oriented Programmatic Ad Ops Specialist with 1–2 years of hands‑on experience in programmatic advertising, campaign trafficking, or digital media trading.

In this role, you will support media traders in the execution, management, and optimization of Programmatic, Social, and Google advertising campaigns.

You will be responsible for campaign setup, trafficking, performance monitoring, troubleshooting, reporting, and assisting with deeper data analysis to help drive measurable results and achieve client objectives.

Responsibilities Include

· Campaign Setup and Trafficking

o Set up and launch programmatic, search, and social media campaigns across platforms such as DSPs, search engines, and social ad platforms.

o Traffic ad creatives, ensuring accurate implementation of ad tags and tracking pixels.

o Manage campaign budgets, pacing, and delivery across channels.

o Ensure all trafficking and platform inputs meet required specifications and compliance standards.

· Campaign Management & Optimization

o Monitor campaign performance and identify opportunities for in‑flight optimization.

o Analyze performance metrics such as impressions, clicks, CTR, and conversion rates to develop actionable recommendations.

o Optimize campaigns using performance insights, A/B testing, and platform best practices.

o Troubleshoot delivery issues, tracking discrepancies, creative errors, and other technical challenges.

· Reporting and Analysis

o Generate, refresh, and maintain recurring campaign performance reports.

o Assist data analysts with compiling and organizing performance data for deeper analysis.

o Support the development of dashboards and visualizations for internal or client‑facing reporting.

o Identify performance trends and insights to inform optimization strategies and future planning.

· Collaboration and Communication

o Work closely with media traders, data analysts, and cross‑functional team members to ensure seamless campaign execution.

o Communicate performance updates, campaign insights, and recommendations clearly to internal stakeholders.

o Maintain organized documentation and up‑to‑date campaign records.

Education & Experience

· Bachelor’s degree in marketing, advertising, business, or a related field.

· 1–2 years of experience required in programmatic ad operations, campaign trafficking, or programmatic media buying.

· Strong hands‑on understanding of digital advertising concepts including programmatic buying, RTB, DSPs, SSPs, ad servers, and social advertising platforms.

· Proficiency with Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUPs) and familiarity with data visualization or analytics tools such as Data Studio, Tableau, Alteryx, and Google Analytics.

· Experience with ad serving platforms such as Google Ad Manager or The Trade Desk; experience with Facebook Ads Manager is an asset.

· Familiarity with web analytics tools such as Google Analytics is beneficial.
