It is a leader in the execution of transport infrastructure, as well as in residential and non-residential construction. FCC Construcción is currently the fourth-largest construction company in Spain in terms of contract volume and ranks among the top 30 in the world, according to the international magazine ENR (Engineering News-Record).

FCC Construcción, through its subsidiary FCC Canada, has been present in Canada for more than 25 years. In 1998, it was awarded the contract for the construction, operation, and maintenance of the Fredericton-Moncton motorway. In 2011, it was awarded the contract to the extension of a section of the Toronto subway expansion, the city's first modern subway infrastructure project. This project was completed in 2019.

In Canada, FCC is proud to be actively involved in multiple projects across Ontario and British Columbia aimed at improving public transportation and infrastructure.
