With over a century of history, FCC’s core businesses include construction, environmental services, end-to-end water management, and the development of concessions for large infrastructure. In Canada, FCC is proud to be involved in multiple projects in Ontario and British Columbia to improve public transportation infrastructure.

FCC Canada excels in civil works such as roads, railways, maritime construction, tunnels, bridges, and subway projects.

Scarborough Subway Extension (SSE - SRS)

The 50/50 joint venture between Aecon Infrastructure Management Inc. and FCC Canada Ltd. will bring the TTC’s Line 2 subway service nearly eight kilometres farther into Scarborough, replacing Line 3 (the Scarborough RT). It will extend from Kennedy Station to Sheppard Avenue and McCowan Road, providing quick and seamless transit for those heading into and out of the downtown core and those travelling within Scarborough. The construction is split into two contracts: Advanced Tunnelling (AT) and Stations, Rail, and Systems (SRS). Scarborough Transit Connect (STC) is the partner for the development phase.
