FDM is a global business and technology consultancy delivering client and industry driven solutions through our 5 core specialist Practices; Software Engineering, Data & Analytics, IT Operations, Change & Transformation, and Risk, Regulation & Compliance.

FDM is seeking a junior Paralegal Analyst located in Montreal, QC to support a project in the Investment Banking sector. Involvement in this project is anticipated to last initially 2 years but may be extended.

This role will be hybrid with requirements to be in office 3 days per week.

The Paralegal analyst is tasked with the following:

Execution and maintenance of contracts in the firm wide repository, agreement maintenance, agreement inquiries, as well as the coordination/completion of master agreement amendments.
Working with the team on projects relating to enhancement projects, Paralegal projects and other team initiatives relating to change and improvement.
Working with management on other projects/initiatives as needed.

Maintenance, including but not limited to the termination of agreements, upload and execution of new master agreements, amendment management, and account linking & delinking.
Amendment Pipeline Management handling all amendments to master agreements in the US’s “As Agent” pipeline, including RFA system management and Capacity & Authority
Trade rejection assistance to resolve potential booking errors, codes not properly linked to master agreements, etc.
Basic inquiries into the inbox from various stakeholders at the Bank pertaining to existing agreements, terms, status, audit, and Beagle-specific projects.
Effectively communicate requests from the business to internal stakeholders, and assist in keeping requests on track through various internal workflows, systems, and teams
Troubleshoot and direct all queries from the business and internal stakeholders – i.e. booking issues, client code discrepancies, conflicting referential, and product specific approvals.
Contribute directly to the Permanent Operational Control by identifying operational risks, applying and implementing procedures, ensuring the formality, completeness and quality of controls, escalating issues to management and remediating them through coordinated action plans.

Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel & PPT)

L'analyste Paralegal est chargé des tâches suivantes :

Fournir un support administratif à la force de vente pour le suivi de la documentation de crédit établie par la Banque ainsi que des documents d'ouverture des clients; saisir le tout dans les systèmes conformément aux directives, procédures internes et autorisations de crédit et / ou instructions de la force de vente.

Assurer les contrôles administratifs et le suivi des dossiers.

Exécution et maintenance des contrats et accords dans la base de données référentiel

Maintenance de la base de données, y compris, mais sans s'y limiter : la résiliation des accords, le téléchargement et l'exécution de nouveaux accords-cadres, la gestion des modifications, la connexion et suppression de comptes.
Changements dans la gestion du pipeline. Gérer toutes les modifications apportées à l'accord-cadre de pipeline américain "en tant qu'agent", y compris les systèmes RFA et la gestion des accès.
Aide au rejet de transaction pour résoudre les erreurs potentielles de réservation, les codes pas correctement liés aux accords-cadres, etc.
Répondre aux différentes demandes des diverses parties prenantes de la banque concernant les contrats existants, les conditions, le statut, les révisions et les projets spécifiques à la base de données
Diriger toutes les requêtes des lignes de métiers et des équipes internes – c’est-à-dire les problèmes de réservation, les écarts de code client, les références contradictoires et les approbations spécifiques au produit.
Participer à différents projets sous la supervision du chef d’équipe.
Contribuer directement au Contrôle Opérationnel Permanent en identifiant les risques opérationnels, en appliquant et en mettant en œuvre les procédures, en assurant la formalité, l’exhaustivité et la qualité des contrôles, en augmentant les problèmes à la direction et en les remédiant par des plans d’action coordonnés.
