Lead the Future

For more than 150 years, FEIN has been setting the global standard in professional-grade power tools. Known for precision engineering, premium quality, and relentless innovation, we empower professionals around the world with products built to perform the most demanding applications.

Build the business. Inspire the team. Lead the next phase of growth.

You know industrial customers. You see opportunities others miss. And you’re ready to turn your commercial success into a bigger leadership opportunity.

FEIN Canada is seeking an entrepreneurial, hands-on General Manager to lead our Canadian business and accelerate sustainable, profitable growth. This is your opportunity to shape strategy, deepen customer relationships, develop a talented team, and take ownership of business results - with the backing of a global industrial brand.

Already an experienced GM? Bring your vision. Ready for your first GM role? Bring your track record, ambition, and leadership ability. We welcome both.

The opportunity

You’ll lead FEIN Canada across sales, marketing, operations, finance, and people development. Working closely with global headquarters, you’ll translate market opportunities into clear priorities and decisive action.

This role calls for a leader who enjoys being where the business happens: meeting customers, working with distributors, coaching the team, and turning plans into measurable results.

What you’ll lead

  • Grow the Canadian business. Build and execute a focused growth strategy across distribution, key accounts, and digital channels.
  • Strengthen customer relationships. Win new business, expand strategic accounts, and connect directly with distributors, partners, and end users.
  • Own financial performance. Take full P&L responsibility, managing revenue, margin, pricing, budgets, forecasts, and investment priorities.
  • Build commercial momentum. Strengthen pipeline quality, forecast accuracy, value-based selling, and disciplined customer follow-up.
  • Connect marketing with growth. Align product positioning, launches, and demand generation with customer needs and sales priorities.
  • Deliver a strong customer experience. Improve coordination across inventory, logistics, order fulfillment, planning, and customer service.
  • Develop the team. Set clear expectations, coach for performance, recognize achievement, and build a culture of accountability.
  • Connect Canada with the global organization. Share market insights, business results, and recommendations that help move the business forward.

What you bring

You combine commercial judgment with the ability to motivate people and follow through. You’re curious, resilient, comfortable making decisions, and willing to challenge established approaches when there’s a better path.

You’ll bring:

  • Meaningful commercial or leadership experience in metalworking, fabrication, machining, steel construction, industrial manufacturing, power tools, or a closely related sector.
  • An understanding of professional customers, industrial applications, and technical B2B value-based selling.
  • A record of measurable commercial results and experience leading people, customers, projects, a territory, or a business unit.
  • A hands-on, entrepreneurial mindset and clear ownership of outcomes.
  • Business fluency in English and strong communication skills with customers, employees, and international colleagues.

Experience with distribution, key accounts, ecommerce, budgeting, pricing, or margin management will help you succeed. A degree in business, engineering, or a related field is welcome; equivalent professional experience is equally valued. French language skills are a bonus.

Previous General Manager experience is welcome, but it is not required. You may be a Sales Director, Commercial Director, Business Unit Leader, Regional Manager, or National Sales Manager ready to take broader responsibility.

Why FEIN Canada?

  • Meaningful influence: Shape the direction of a national business.
  • A clear growth mandate: Develop markets, strengthen channels, and build customer relationships.
  • Broad leadership scope: Connect strategy, commercial performance, operations, and people.
  • Global collaboration: Work closely with FEIN headquarters and a global industrial product portfolio.
  • Room to make your mark: Bring ideas, build capability, and see the impact of your leadership.

Ready to lead what’s next?

We want to hear what you’ve grown, how you’ve led, and why you’re ready for this opportunity.

Apply with your résumé and a brief introduction highlighting your relevant industry experience, commercial achievements, and interest in leading FEIN Canada.

Bring your ambition. Take ownership. Build the next chapter of FEIN Canada.
