Original job description

About Felix

Founded in 2019, Felix is a digital healthcare company that puts the patient in control of their own health and wellbeing. We’re passionate about building technology and beautiful customer experiences to make healthcare more accessible (and more enjoyable) for all Canadians. Felix is Canada's first end-to-end healthcare experience, providing online treatment, prescription delivery and ongoing care. We deliver care across a growing range of daily health categories such as weight loss, birth control, menopause, erectile dysfunction, acne and more.‍

Description

We are seeking Nurse Practitioners with strong generalist experience and a passion for weight management to join our growing team of healthcare providers. This role requires a minimum commitment of 40 hours per week. If that sounds like you, we want to hear from you!

You must be licensed as a Nurse Practitioner in at least one province in Canada. Preference will be given to NPs with multiple licensing, or with licensing that meets our current needs.

Advantages of joining Felix:

100% remote: from the comfort of your home, on your laptop, computer or even on your mobile and tablets.
Leading virtual medicine provider in Canada: work at the cutting edge of virtual healthcare
Professional Development: plenty of opportunities to connect and learn from some of Canada’s leading physicians in weight loss, menopause and virtual care.
Safety is our priority: our platform is secure for both the patient and health professional and has been purpose built to comply with applicable health information privacy regulations.
Intuitive platform: the Felix platform is easy to use, plus HCPs have continuous on-hand engineering and clinical support available to them.

Who you are:

Felix is seeking a licensed Nurse Practitioner in at least one province in Canada, preferably with cross-jurisdictional licensure.
You are available to provide a minimum of 40 hours of scheduled time per week on the platform.
You have 2+ years of Nurse Practitioner experience, with demonstrated experience of providing patients with the best possible care.
You have direct experience with treating and managing obesity.
You are physically located in Canada, with a billing number in the province(s) that you are licensed, required for ordering laboratory testing.
You are a member in good standing of the College(s) where you hold the title of Nurse Practitioner, maintaining eligibility and willingness to be licensed in other provinces.
You maintain confidentiality and follow the code of conduct as per the governing body of their province/territory.
You have experience in telemedicine. Additional experience in weight loss, menopause, mental health, erectile dysfunction, and birth control care are assets.
You have a proficient understanding of technology, EMRs and remote work.
You are adaptable and open to change.

Compensation

Base weekly rate, with additional assessment remuneration tied to services delivered above a defined threshold.

Our commitment to an inclusive team culture means embracing diversity and offering equitable access to opportunities and resources for people who might otherwise be excluded. During our recruitment process, we provide accommodations at any stage. Candidates can communicate their accommodation needs to the hiring manager directly or by emailing accessibility@felixforyou.ca.
