Role Description
The Sales & Operational Support Specialist (contract with possible extension) is a full-time, on-site role based in Markham, ON. This role supports the sales team and daily operations through order processing, customer inquiries, and coordination with warehouse and logistics teams to ensure accurate and timely deliveries. The specialist will assist with preparing quotes, maintaining customer records, tracking inventory-related information, and following up on open orders and backorders. Day-to-day responsibilities include responding to customer service requests, supporting sales initiatives, preparing basic sales reports, and helping onboard and train team members on internal processes and systems. The role may also involve liaising with manufacturing and technical teams to resolve issues and provide clear, professional communication to customers and internal stakeholders.
Qualifications & Skills
Experience: Previous experience in sales support, operations, or an industrial/distribution setting is preferred.
Tech-Savvy: Must be an AI avid user with a strong interest in utilizing artificial intelligence and digital tools to optimize workflows.
Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
Languages: Fluency in Mandarin or Cantonese is considered a strong asset.
Attributes: A proven team player with a strong work ethic, exceptional multi-tasking abilities, and the capacity to learn new systems quickly
