Who We Are

Fiera Capital is a global independent asset manager with an entrepreneurial culture and a clear vision: to deliver disciplined, high-conviction investment solutions that create lasting value for our clients. From our Canadian roots to a global firm, we are defined by deep investment expertise, an ownership mindset, and enduring client partnerships.

Our actions are guided by our core values: we lead with integrity, think critically, act decisively, innovate with purpose, collaborate with intent, and adapt with agility.

We are committed to building a purpose-driven, performance-oriented culture where our employees are supported to grow, contribute, and excel.

What we are looking for:

Working with a team of Client Service Associates and reporting to the Supervisor, Client Experience, you will assist the Institutional Client Managers in the administrative, client support and business development activities for Fiera's institutional clients. Our day-to-day is conducted in both English and French, to reflect the needs of our client base.

Your responsibilities:

As part of your duties, you will be assigned the following responsibilities:

Maintain detailed knowledge on the specific characteristics and features of the various portfolios for which the Institutional Client Manager is responsible, with a view to responding promptly to any client requests for data (e.g. returns/products/strategies/transactions/administration), including LDI and alternative products strategies;
Oversee the opening of new accounts by coordinating the implementation of new portfolios with the relevant departments (portfolio administration, compliance, portfolio managers, performance);
Facilitate modifications in investment policies for each account (update appropriate systems, advise and follow-up with the Compliance department);
Able to navigate complex situations through collaboration with others and a continuous improvement mindset
Coordinate effective cash management activities (cash inflows/outflows) with appropriate internal departments;
Record and update client contacts and other related information in appropriate CRM system;
Review and make necessary adjustments to client quarterly reports to ensure reports are sent out in a timely manner once approval has been obtained by Institutional Client Manager;
Ensure that all documents presented to clients (quarterly meetings or ad hoc requests) reflect information that is both complete and of the highest quality, and are produced within the required timelines;
Build presentations and prepare documents for quarterly client meetings as required;
Collaborate with other members of the Institutional Markets team on common projects (special events, process enhancements, etc.); and provide back-up to other Client Service Associates when necessary.
Mentor and coach more junior staff

Must have requirements to be successful in this role:

Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or related field is ideal, however we will consider a mix of academic and relevant practical experience;
Minimum 3 years of relevant experience providing client service support to institutional clients within the financial services industry;
Enrolment or completion of CSC is an asset;
Effective communication and interpersonal skills, fluently both in French and English;
Thorough knowledge of the financial industry and of investment portfolios and products;
A proven client service outlook and sound judgment;
Ability to handle multiple tasks while maintaining high degree of accuracy and attention to detail;
Autonomous, innovative, proactive and sense of urgency;
Strong knowledge of Microsoft Windows (PowerPoint, Excel, Word, Outlook).
Knowledge of Salesforce is an asset;

Additional Information:

Our workplace model includes 4 days a week in the office, Monday through Thursday.

What we offer:

At Fiera Capital, we believe in investing in our people. Here are some of the benefits you can enjoy:

Wellness Account to support your physical, mental, and financial well-being.
Learning & Development support through reimbursement of eligible certifications and professional development programs.
Employee Share Purchase Plan (ESPP) with employer matching to help you build long-term financial value.
Performance-Based Rewards through competitive bonus and commission opportunities.
Telemedicine Access for convenient healthcare and mental health support.
Summer Schedule Program offering additional flexibility, including reduced Friday hours during the summer month

For roles based in Quebec (Montreal and Laval), proficiency in spoken and written French is required. A working knowledge of English is also necessary to collaborate with our global teams and clients.

At Fiera Capital, we believe our people are our greatest strength. We are committed to fostering an inclusive and equitable workplace where everyone can grow, contribute, and reach their full potential. We are proud to be an equal opportunity employer and welcome applications from candidates of all backgrounds. We do not tolerate any form of discrimination or harassment.

All employment decisions, including hiring and promotions, are based on merit, skills, performance, and business needs. Accommodations are available upon request throughout the recruitment process.
