Role Description The Mobile Detailing Technician is a part-time, on-site role based in Victoria, BC, serving customers across Southern Vancouver Island. This role involves traveling to customer locations, performing interior and exterior detailing services, including washing, vacuuming, stain removal, polishing, and protecting vehicle surfaces. The technician will prepare detailing equipment and products, follow company procedures for quality and safety, and maintain a clean, organized work area and vehicle. Daily responsibilities include communicating with customers about service options, managing scheduled appointments, documenting completed work, and supporting subscription-based service offerings. The role requires reliable punctuality, attention to detail, and a commitment to delivering consistent, high-quality customer care.

Qualifications

• Strong practical skills in vehicle cleaning and detailing, including interior and exterior wash, vacuuming, stain removal, polishing, and basic paint care.
• Customer service and communication skills to explain services, respond to questions, and provide professional, courteous interactions on-site.
• Ability to manage time and schedules effectively, work independently, and maintain productivity while traveling between multiple job sites.
• Basic knowledge of cleaning products, tools, and safety practices, with the ability to follow instructions and company protocols.
• Valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and comfort working in varying weather conditions and physical environments.
• High attention to detail, pride in workmanship, and willingness to learn and follow Fig’s Mobile Detailing standards.
• Previous detailing, automotive, or cleaning experience is an asset but not required; training can be provided.
• Ability to lift and move equipment and supplies as needed and stand, bend, and reach throughout the workday.
