Want to forge your Heavy Duty future working on CAT equipment? We are taking on apprentices to join our busy team in Swift Current, SK.
You will work alongside an experienced Journeyperson and become an integral part of our team.

Wage: $32.54 - $40.59
Schedule: 7x7 Continuous Shift
Location: Swift Current, SK

Job Description:

Major Job Functions:

Assist Heavy Equipment Technicians with troubleshooting, repairing and maintaining all heavy duty equipment and/or related equipment in a timely fashion.
Work as part of a team to meet Finning customer service commitments.
Maintain positive relationships with customers and co-workers.
Understand and adhere to all Finning policies, including Code of Conduct and Safety.
Ensure all service documentation and billing is accurate and properly recorded.
Other related duties as required.

Qualifications:

Willing to work towards Heavy Equipment Technician Certification (Red Seal).
Successfully meet Finning’s educational and testing prerequisites.
Completion of grade 12 (Physics, English, and Math)
Highly motivated and mechanically inclined
Strong assets will include:
- Excellent written and verbal communications skills
- Previous Caterpillar experience and basic computer skills

Responsibilities

Assist Heavy Equipment Technicians with troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining heavy-duty and related equipment. Support customer service commitments, maintain positive relationships, follow company policies and safety requirements, and accurately complete service documentation and billing.

Requirements

Applicants must be willing to work toward Heavy Equipment Technician certification (Red Seal), meet Finning’s educational and testing prerequisites, and have completed Grade 12, including Physics, English, and Math.
