Position Overview:
Join the Finning Canada family, part of the world’s largest Caterpillar dealer. We are currently looking for a dedicated Class 5 Driver in our Calgary - The Cat Rental Store (TCRS) Facility. Job Description:
- Provide customer service in a polite, friendly, and professional manner, while maintaining a polished personal appearance
- Pick up and deliver equipment and smaller rental items
- Load and unload company trucks and trailers safely
- Operate company vehicles, trailers, and related rental equipment as required
Qualifications:
- Must possess a valid Class 5 driver’s license with a clean driving record
- Must be capable of repeated lifting and pushing required to load and unload smaller rental items
- Must have a proven track record of successfully operating a large truck with a trailer
- Must be competent with basic computer programs, including email and Microsoft Word
- Must have the ability to learn the company software program and driving log application
- Knowledge of load securement and experience operating various types of equipment would be an asset
Important Information:
- This position is based in Calgary, AB on a 5x2 Shift. (Monday to Friday)
- Hours and shift schedule may be subject to change to meet customer and/or Finning (Canada) requirements. Please note that any future shift changes that may occur will be made in accordance with the Terms & Conditions of the current Collective Agreement
