As the Parts Journeyperson, your primary responsibility includes developing and maintaining customer relationships, providing sales support for telephone, walk in, and shop parts needs, as well as effectively managing all facets of the parts ordering process and system.

Job Description:
Major Job Functions:
- Provide front counter (over the phone and walk in) and/or shop parts counter sales support.
- Develop and maintain customer relationships.
- Source and order new and used CAT and non-CAT parts.
- Manage backorders and provide updates regarding estimated shipping.
- Process parts credits and customer orders.
- Participate and adhere to on-site safety requirements.
- Participate in parts sales related special projects and assignments.
- Participate in call quality and performance initiatives as required.
- Pulling customer and branch parts orders.
- Packing and labeling parts orders for shipments.
- Warehouse duties and housekeeping as required.
- Hydraulic hose building.
- Core inspections.
Qualifications:
- Journeyperson parts certification coupled with previous parts, warehouse, and front counter sales experience is preferred
- If candidate is not certified, a willingness to complete the Parts Apprenticeship Program mandatory as well as the successful completion of Finning Pre-Apprenticeship Testing.
- 3 – 5 years previous experience working with customer sales, parts and/or warehouse is required.
- Successful completion of grade 12.
- A high performance, positive attitude and the ability to build and maintain respectful working relationships
- Clearly demonstrate enthusiasm about their work and must be able to function effectively and purposefully in a dynamic environment
- This self-motivated individual will be a team player with highly developed organizational, interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to deal with difficult situations and driven to provide unparalleled customer service
- Experience with SIS, AIMS, Antares, SIMSi, InfoCast, Lawson M3, Landmark Smart Office, M3 Sales Automation and the MS Office Package will be considered assets
- Caterpillar parts product knowledge is an asset
