Finning Canada is looking for an organized, customer-focused Service Coordinator to join our team in Prince George. In this role, you'll be the central point connecting customers, technicians, planners, supervisors, and support teams to ensure service work is planned, communicated, executed, and completed efficiently.

Job Description:

What You'll Do

As a Service Coordinator, you'll play a key role in keeping maintenance and repair projects on track by managing documentation, coordinating resources, and ensuring stakeholders are informed every step of the way.

Key responsibilities include:

Coordinate service jobs from initiation through completion and invoicing
Create and manage work orders, job documentation, and service records
Monitor job progress, schedules, budgets, and customer commitments
Communicate regularly with customers and internal teams regarding repair status and timelines
Support service planners and supervisors with job execution and scheduling activities
Coordinate transportation, contractors, third-party services, and site access requirements
Track and update service systems to ensure accurate information and reporting
Identify risks, delays, or issues that may impact customer commitments and escalate when required
Participate in pre-job, mid-job, and post-job reviews while documenting action items
Assist with warranty administration, billing activities, and job close-out documentation
Ensure service records are complete, accurate, and audit-ready

Preferred Qualifications

2-4 years of experience in a service coordination, project coordination, administrative, operations support, or dealership environment
Experience supporting construction, forestry, mining, oil and gas, industrial equipment, transportation, or service operations
Knowledge of repair processes, maintenance planning, parts coordination, or warranty administration is considered an asset
Post-secondary education in Business Administration, Accounting, Project Management, or a related field is preferred
