A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A PROJECT MANAGER

As a Project Manager, you take full ownership of every restoration project, leading from kickoff to completion with precision and purpose. You'll scope losses, prepare detailed estimates, and manage budgets to ensure every project stays profitable and on schedule. You'll keep teams, subcontractors, and resources working in sync, driving progress while maintaining the highest safety and quality standards. You'll engage directly with homeowners, adjusters, and insurers to build trust, communicate clearly, and keep expectations aligned. You'll stay ahead of potential issues, solving challenges quickly and keeping work moving without delay. You'll also mentor junior project managers and supervisors, building their skills and ensuring consistency across every job you touch. Each day, your leadership, problem-solving, and commitment to excellence will deliver outstanding results for clients and your team alike.

Qualifications

3+ years of experience as a Project Manager I or equivalent experience in restoration or construction
Proven ability to manage multiple projects independently from start to finish
Strong knowledge of restoration and construction practices, safety regulations, and building codes
Experience reading plans, developing scopes, and negotiating with clients and adjusters
Skilled communicator with strong organization and time management abilities
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, mobile applications, and Xactimate (Level 2 certification an asset)
IICRC certifications: WRT and FSRT
Valid driver's license and clean driving abstract
Must be able to participate in a rotating on-call schedule   
Ability to complete work activities which may include physical labour, material handling and lifting, climbing ladders, wearing a respirator, and working in tight spaces (attics, basements, and crawlspaces)

UNE JOURNÉE DANS LA VIE D'UN CHARGÉ (E) DE PROJET

En tant que chef de projet, vous prenez en charge l'ensemble des projets de restauration, du lancement à la réalisation, avec précision et détermination. Vous évaluez les pertes, préparez des devis détaillés et gérez les budgets afin de garantir la rentabilité et le respect des délais de chaque projet. Vous coordonnez le travail des équipes, des sous-traitants et des ressources, en assurant la progression des travaux tout en respectant les normes de sécurité et de qualité les plus strictes. Vous êtes en contact direct avec les propriétaires, les experts et les assureurs afin d'établir une relation de confiance, de communiquer clairement et de répondre aux attentes. Vous anticiperez les problèmes potentiels, résoudrez rapidement les difficultés et ferez en sorte que le travail avance sans retard. Vous encadrerez également les chefs de projet et les superviseurs juniors, en développant leurs compétences et en garantissant la cohérence de tous les travaux que vous supervisez. Chaque jour, votre leadership, votre capacité à résoudre les problèmes et votre engagement envers l'excellence permettront d'obtenir des résultats exceptionnels pour les clients et votre équipe.

Qualifications

Au moins 3 ans d'expérience en tant que chef de projet I ou expérience équivalente dans le domaine de la restauration ou de la construction
Capacité avérée à gérer plusieurs projets de manière indépendante, du début à la fin
Solides connaissances des pratiques de restauration et de construction, des réglementations en matière de sécurité et des codes du bâtiment
Expérience dans la lecture de plans, l'élaboration de cahiers des charges et la négociation avec les clients et les experts en sinistres
Bon communicateur doté de solides compétences en matière d'organisation et de gestion du temps
Maîtrise de la suite Microsoft Office, des applications mobiles et de Xactimate (certification de niveau 2 un atout)
Certifications IICRC : WRT et FSRT
Permis de conduire valide et casier routier vierge
Capacité à participer à un programme de garde par rotation   
Capacité à accomplir des tâches pouvant inclure des travaux physiques, la manutention et le levage de matériaux, l'utilisation d'échelles, le port d'un respirateur et le travail dans des espaces confinés (greniers, sous-sols et vides sanitaires)
