Original job description

Our client is seeking a motivated, organized and hands-on Marketing Coordinator to support the execution of marketing activities across their portfolio of licensed sports apparel and lifestyle products.

Working closely with marketing leadership, the Marketing Coordinator will help coordinate campaigns, manage social media, maintain marketing calendars, track performance and support day-to-day marketing activities across digital channels.

The ideal candidate is equally comfortable developing engaging social content, coordinating marketing campaigns and working with data. They should have a solid foundation in digital marketing, strong organizational skills and the ability to take initiative in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

Marketing Coordination & Campaign Execution

Support the planning, coordination and execution of digital marketing campaigns and promotions.
Maintain marketing calendars, campaign schedules and deliverable trackers.
Coordinate campaign assets, product information and approvals with internal teams and external partners.
Assist with product launches, seasonal promotions and marketing initiatives.
Monitor campaign progress and ensure activities are completed on schedule.

Digital Marketing & Social Media

Create, schedule and publish content across Instagram, Facebook, TikTok and Pinterest.
Develop engaging social media posts, reels and short-form videos using existing product assets and original content.
Capture product photography and video content as needed.
Support email marketing campaigns, website content updates and digital promotions.
Coordinate content to support product launches, seasonal campaigns and sales priorities.

Analytics & Reporting

Collect and organize marketing performance data across digital platforms.
Prepare weekly and monthly marketing reports and update performance dashboards.
Monitor website traffic, engagement, campaign results and social media performance.
Identify trends and opportunities for improvement.
Support marketing leadership with research, analysis and reporting.

Marketing Administration & Support

Maintain organized marketing assets, campaign documentation and shared files.
Coordinate with external advertising agencies and internal departments.
Track marketing activities, deadlines and outstanding deliverables.
Support additional marketing initiatives and administrative tasks as required.

Qualifications

1–3 years of experience in a marketing coordinator, digital marketing or similar role.
Post-secondary education in marketing, communications, business or a related field.
Working knowledge of digital marketing channels, campaigns and performance metrics.
Experience with social media management and content creation.
Familiarity with Google Analytics (GA4), Meta Business Suite, Google Ads or similar marketing platforms.
Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint and Canva.
Experience with Shopify, Klaviyo or other e-commerce and email marketing platforms is an asset.
Strong organizational skills, attention to detail and ability to manage competing deadlines.
Comfortable working with data and preparing basic performance reports.
Strong written communication skills and a proactive, collaborative approach.

What We're Looking For

Someone who is resourceful, detail-oriented and comfortable taking initiative. You don't need to be an expert in every marketing platform, but you should understand the fundamentals of digital marketing, be comfortable working with performance data and have some experience supporting marketing campaigns.

This is a hands-on role with opportunities to expand your skills and responsibilities as the marketing department grows.

The salary range for this role is $50,000-$55,000. All applications are reviewed by real people - we do not use AI or automated screening tools in our recruitment process.
