What You Will Be Doing

Meets daily with project crews to review production schedule and confirm all materials, equipmentand resources are readily available for production to continue on schedule and within budget.
Collects, coordinates and analysis shop drawings, design specifications, material requirementsand project data through the duration of the project to ensure quality and contract specificationcompliance.
Provides technical input for project work plan and scheduling. Identifies risk elements ofproduction, materials, equipment or process that could negatively impact the budget or schedule .
Evaluates daily production, schedule and budget projections to accurately track projectperformance. Documents daily activities in Company approved methods and technologies.
Notifies team members and manager of any significant schedule changes and recommendssolutions for management consideration.
Remits accurate project quantity input and controls using assigned project cost coding to ensureproject financials are accurately reporter. Manages cost coding with Company finance andacoutine teams regarding employee time, materials, equipment and subcontractor needs.
Reviews and approves daily timecards for all Company construction crews. Works with OfficeManager, payroll and job construction supervisors to resolve timecard inquiries, as needed.
Reviews project specifications for quality assurance at the beginning of work, during the projectwork and after work completes. Initiates and manages appropriate certificates, inspections andother documentation regarding construction production on the project site.
Works with construction crews and engineering leaders to plan field layout on the project site,ensuring appropriate utility and commercial lines are marked before production begins. Initiatesand manages any permits needed before work can begin.
Conducts required Job Hazard Analysis (JHAs) to ensure a safe and compliance workenvironment for all construction personnel. Attends weekly safety meetings with field team andproject leadership; presents field analysis as needed.
Assists the estimating team with project schedules and provides technical input as needed.
Assists the development of design drawings and provides technical input, as needed.
Coordinates subcontractor work methods, schedule and crews as needed.
Reconciles job close-out checklist with Owner representative and field crews at the end of the project.

What We Are Looking For

Bachelor's Degree in a related field required.
1+ years of construction engineering experience required.
Valid Driver’s License.
Beginner knowledge of construction equipment & techniques, drawing & specifications, building materials and required standards applicable to the project.
Ability to assume responsibility, interface and communicate effectively with others.
Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently and effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Skill in verbal and written communication needed.
Proven self-starter and self-motivated to learn and grow knowledge.
Knowledge of construction scheduling and production time management preferred.
Construction engineering experience or knowledge required.

Gère l’imputation des coûts en collaboration avec les équipes financière etcomptable de l’entreprise en ce qui concerne le temps de travail des employés, les matériaux,l’équipement et les besoins liés aux sous-traitants.
Examine et approuve les feuilles de temps quotidiennes de toutes les équipes de construction del’entreprise. Collabore avec le responsable administratif, le service de la paie et les superviseursde chantier pour répondre aux demandes concernant les fiches de présence, au besoin.
Examine les spécifications du projet à des fins d’assurance de qualité au début des travaux,pendant la réalisation du projet et une fois les travaux terminés. Instaure et gère les certificats,les inspections et les autres documents relatifs aux travaux de construction sur le chantier.
Collabore avec les équipes de construction et les responsables de l’ingénierie pour planifierl’implantation sur le chantier, en veillant à ce que les conduites de services publics et les lignes commerciales soient correctement marquées avant le début des travaux. Lance les démarches et gère l’obtention de tous les permis nécessaires avant le début des travaux.
Effectue les analyses des risques au travail (ART) requises afin de garantir un milieu de travailsécuritaire et conforme aux normes pour l’ensemble du personnel de construction. Participe auxréunions hebdomadaires sur la sécurité avec l’équipe de terrain et la direction du projet; présente des analyses de terrain au besoin.
Apporte son soutien à l’équipe chargée des estimations en ce qui concerne les échéanciers desprojets et fournit des conseils techniques au besoin.
